Hi There .

This writing comes as a vision is almost manifest!.

When a problem is identified, I want to help solve that problem. Especially when it is an education problem. Education has been my vocation, one platform or another since 1973!

Yes, I am that old!.

But wait there's more.

After finding what I thought was the Perfect Job as a Naturalist, I relocated and didn't find work in that field.

Instead, I discovered Dyslexia..

Actually, being dyslexic, I knew about the frustrations but never had a label for the problem.

We still had no label for Dyslexia when my brilliant son could not perform as school demanded.

People told us, and many others, that we were bright but, “not applying Ourselves”. 

That, of course, is nonsense! No one wants to fail! But Dyslexic people are not generally taught in a way that their, ’different’, brains can grasp.

So in 2003, I learned about the genetic difference which causes Dyslexia.

I was Stunned! The diagnosis explained many things in my life, as an experiencer of Dyslexia, as a parent and as an Educator.

Since then, I have learned how the brain makes connections and how that understanding can apply learning theory and allow virtually anyone to spell and read!

It is remarkably exciting to see students or anyone, learning and applying concepts that allow growth and ability!!

Even if delivering those lessons is complicated, tedious, sometimes chaotic, inefficient and time-consuming. BUT it was still exciting!..

Then, Technology and an amazingly forward-thinking Dyslexic Student brought a new concept into the mix.

Now Seven Years Later, yes,.. 7…, TacTilesApp is on the launching pad!.

The  TacTilesApp Team and I, are anxious to let you all have the ultimate Spelling and Reading tool at your disposal.
