You will find that the TacTilesApp is a versatile and customizable tool that you can individualize to your student and your preferred curriculum. This app will truly provide you with a tactile experience for your multi-sensory teaching.

Our app supplies an unlimited amount of tiles, the alphabet as well as many other common phonetic patterns (or letter combinations). These tiles are color-coded by their usage in words and storage within the app.

Virtual Tiles

Each colorful virtual tile represents its own phoneme including advanced phonic patterns. Each virtual tile lists three word examples of its targeted sound. Additionally, prefixes and suffixes have definitions as well as the three word examples.

Reading Skills

The TacTilesApp can be used to teach a variety of reading concepts: pre-reading skills, phonemic awareness, advanced phonetic patterns, syllable division, morphology etc. Other skills and concepts can be easily taught using the TacTilesApp including contractions, parts of speech, sentence structure, and punctuation. The App also includes various keyboard symbols — diacritical marks, syllable labels, praise emojis, and even numbers and basic math operation symbols.
